India’s Permanent Mission to the UN and the Consulate General of India in Geneva

organize a Virtual Presentation on

“Wellness for Wellbeing of the Humanity”

with Sadhguru, Founder, Isha Foundation 

   As a part of 75-weeks long celebration of India@75,  the Permanent Mission of India (PMI) to the UN and the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Geneva have planned to organize a virtual Presentation on “Wellness For Wellbeing of the Humanity” on Friday, 11 June 2021, at 6.30 p.m. (CET). The purpose of the Event is to highlight the unique concept of ‘Wellness’, including, but not limited to, realization of a healthy body and mind, and India’s role and contribution towards the global achievement of this goal. 

2. Sadhguru, Founder, Isha Foundation, who is an internationally renowned and well acclaimed Yogi, Mystic and Visionary and who has extensively dwelt upon inner-wellbeing to transform lives of millions around the world, will deliver a Talk on the above topic and answer questions from the audience. Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH,  Government of India will be participating through a video message. 

3. Members of the international community, including Permanent Representatives, Heads of International Organizations based in Geneva, members of the Indian diaspora, including Indian Association in Geneva (IAG), Indian Association Lausanne (IAL), Youth United Via Action (YUVA) Indian Students Association at EPLF-UNIL, Indian Community, among others, have been invited to participate in the virtual event via the weblink isha.co/SadhguruIndia75

4. To launch India@75 celebrations in Geneva, Switzerland, PMI to the UN and CGI in Geneva had organized a Virtual Curtain Raiser celebration on 31st March 2021. As the UN had dedicated the month of March 2021 to women, the inaugural celebration included a Panel Discussion on “Indian Women – Their Global Role and Contribution”. It was followed by Virtual Presentation titled “Space Programme of India@75” which was organized on 22nd April 2021 with the participation of Dr. K. Sivan, Chairman, ISRO.  Earlier this month, on 01 June 2021, a Virtual Presentation titled “India’s Dance Traditions: A Microcosm of India’s Cultural Heritage” was made by Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Member of Indian Parliament and Legendary Classical Dancer.  The event was organized in association with United Nations’ Women’s Guild (UNWG).
