We again congratulate you and Members of the Bureau on the successful conduct of the Human Rights Council.  We appreciate your efforts towards steering the Council in spite of the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic.

2. We commend you and the Bureau for organizing consultations as well as informal exchange of views among the stakeholders to promote dialogue and cooperation for smooth functioning of the Council.

3. We appreciate the series of informal consultations led by you and your team on the efficiency measures and the methods of work of the Consultative Group.  Despite the immense challenges to the Council, due to both difficult financial situation as well as Covid-19 pandemic, it is important that we have been able to strike a balance between the efficiency measures under consideration and the quality of our work.  We appreciate your efforts towards forging consensus on the methods of work of the Consultative Group.
