Emergency Certificates

         This facility is available :

• For deportation purposes

• Cases of theft/loss of passports (where the bearer wishes to return to India from Geneva directly and does not wish to travel further)

NOTE: THE ISSUANCE OF EMERGENCY CERTIFICATE IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE AUTHORTIES AND IS DECIDED ON MERIT ON A CASE TO CASE BASIS.

The requirements are:

• Hard copy of the application form has to be submitted with all columns duly filled in. (Download Application Form)

• Three, latest, identical coloured photographs (5cmX5cm with light coloured background).

• Fees

1.		Emergency Certificate.		CHF 15.00
2.		Issue of duplicate Emergency Certificate or Certificate of Identity in lieu of EC/IC on the ground that it has been stolen, lost, damaged or destroyed.		CHF 49.00

 

   Note: The applicant has to personally appear before a Consular Officer.
