NRI or Date of Birth Certificate according to Indian Passport
Requirements:
(a) Duly filled Miscellaneous Services Application form (Download Application form for miscellaneous services).
(b) Original Passport & Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
(c) Copy of valid Swiss resident permit.
(d) One recent Passport Size ( 35 mm x 45 mm) photograph.
(e) For NRI Certificate, applicants may submit a list of their entry/exit into/from India to confirm length of total stay in foreign country during a particular financial year (March to April), on the basis of the Indian passport held. In case of any doubt, the case will be referred to the concerned agencies in India for clarification, which might delay issuance of NRI certificate. (Entry/Exit List Link)
(f) For NRI Certificate, applicants with Indian passport may also submit an
affidavit/declaration that they have stayed abroad for more than 182 days during a
particular financial year (March to April).
(g) Applicants will be issued NRI Certificate as per Consulate’s format only. Applicants must provide a proof that a certificate is required for admission in Indian University under NRI Quota.
