Thank you Mr. President

India warmly welcomes the delegation of Angola and appreciates the legislative measures taken by Angola towards promotion and protection of human rights, such as the National Human Rights Strategy and its action plan, as well as the national plan of action for the elimination of child labour. We welcome the efforts made by Angola to combat discrimination in the workplace against persons with disabilities. We also note the measures to enhance access to water and sanitation, as well as increased budgetary allocation to strengthen the education infrastructure.
