Madam Vice-President,
We thank the Working Group on the presentation of the report and take note of its recommendations.
2. We believe that technical assistance and capacity building are key actions to implement the UN Guiding Principles on BHR and agree with the Working Group’s conclusions that more capacity building measures are required to address the needs of relevant stakeholders.

3. India values the work of the Working Group towards the implementation of the United Nations Guiding Principles on BHR.
4. Among various steps, we are in the process of finalising our National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights which will articulate our priorities and actions to support the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on BHR including capacity building efforts.
5. We would like to request the Working Group for suggestions on further steps that can be taken for implementing capacity-building at the international level in the field of BHR.
