Mr. Vice-President,

India welcomes the delegation of Liechtenstein and thanks them for the comprehensive presentation.

 2. In the spirit of dialogue and constructive cooperation, India recommends the following to Liechtenstein:

 i. Ratify the Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

ii. Take further steps to ensure protection of victims of human trafficking.

iii. Consider becoming member of the International Labour Organization and ensure that its labour laws are in conformity with the ILO conventions.

iv. Strengthen its National Human Rights Institution so that it is able to carry out its mandate independently and efficiently in line with Paris principles.

 v. Take further steps to improve under-representation of women in political and economic decision-making positions.

 3. We wish Liechtenstein all success for its review.

Thank you, Mr. Vice President.
