Mr. President,

   India warmly welcomes and thanks the delegation of Netherlands for the comprehensive presentation.

2. We commend the effective response of the Government of Netherlands to address the COVID-19 pandemic and appreciate the support extended to the vulnerable groups in particular for tackling poverty and debt.

3. In the spirit of cooperation, India recommends the following:

i. Continue to take necessary measures in curbing structural discrimination against persons of foreign origin, including strengthening the work of the National Coordinator on Racism and Discrimination

ii. Consider developing policies related to inclusion of persons with disabilities, especially on the public employment.

iii. Continue to take efforts to remove obstacles hindering the inclusion of children with special educational needs in the education system.

4. We wish the delegation of Netherlands all success in its future endeavours.
