Madam President,

We warmly welcome the delegation of Trinidad & Tobago for the adoption of the Working Group’s report on its UPR undertaken on 12th November 2021.

  1. 2.The review saw active participation and constructive engagement with 58 delegations taking the floor and making 166 recommendations. We appreciate that Trinidad & Tobago has accepted 65 recommendations including 2 of the three recommendations made by India.

  2. 3.While recommending the adoption of the report, we congratulate the delegation of Trinidad & Tobago for its successful review and wish it success in implementing the accepted recommendations.
