Screening of “Interactions, When Cinema Looks To Nature”

( 19 January 2023)

As part of celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Permanent Mission of India to the UN and other International Organisations and the Consulate General of India, Geneva, co-hosted screening of Interaction, When Cinema Looks to Nature, an anthology of 12 films and short stories, where 12 international Filmmakers from  India (Nila Madhab Panda), Switzerland, US, Italy, France, Brazil, Greece, Mexico, Morocco  and Burkina Faso create connections between Humans and Animals through Biodiversity, Climate Change, Environment and Water Risks. The screening was organized at Theatre of Centre des Arts, Ecolint, Geneva. Consul General of India Shri Sunil Achaya addressed the gathering and spoke about the theme, and highlighted instances where India has taken lead in the protection of environment, climate change etc.  Consul General also referred to Hon’ble PM’s initiative LiFE (Lifestyle For Environment) and our shared commitment towards its protection.

The event was participated by more than 250 members of the Swiss and international communities.
